The Concrete Calculator is produced by a small editorial team that combines construction-estimating know-how with careful technical writing. We do not publish tools we would not trust on our own jobs.

Who builds the tools

Our calculators are developed by writers and estimators with hands-on experience in residential and light-commercial concrete work, from slabs and footings to driveways, columns and stairs. They translate real job-site math into simple inputs and clear outputs.

How work is reviewed

Before publication, each calculator's formulas and results are checked by a technical reviewer against worked examples and standard references. Guides are edited for accuracy and plain language, and the whole library is localized into 18 languages so the numbers read clearly wherever you build.

Our commitment

We hold every page to the accuracy, testing and correction rules described in our editorial standards, and we document the math behind each tool on the methodology page.
